Funny Things Kids Say

Here are a few funny things that my kids have said this month:

I was showing Nathaniel the letters and telling him their names. "This is a U," I said. He says, "It's a me!" He now recognizes it as a 'me.'

Gabriel asked Michael how something worked and Michael carefully explained it to him. Gabriel pondered the answer for a minute and then said, "That's one idea."

We were being interviewed at a prospective school yesterday. The interviewer asked Gabriel what was his favorite thing to do after he gets home from school. Gabriel answered, "Watch shows while everyone is sleeping." The interviewer said, "Busted!" I should have coached him better. Maybe the public school will take him :)
