Creative Exercise #1 Everyday Objects

"Take a minute and think about all the commonplace objects you rely on to help you get through your daily routine: car keys, a paper cutter, your iPod, instant oatmeal, an electronic toothbrush...the list could go on and on. With a camera in hand (any camera will do - even the camera on your cell phone), take a quick walk through your house and snap five photos of objects you couldn't live without."

1. My new camera - I like to take pictures especially of my little guys. This new camera will let me be more creative with my pictures and give me something new to learn to keep my brain alive.

2. My computer - my family is in NY and one of my best friends just moved to China. My email allows me to keep in touch and not feel so isolated at home.

3. My ipod - I have been having fun over the last year putting my music on the computer and making mix CDs. It takes me back to high school :) I also take it to the gym with me.

4. My Lobo Sweatshirt - One of the best parts of not working is trading heals for comfy clothes. This sweatshirt is also great to wear when we go to see the Lady Lobos basketball games as a family.

5. My reading nook - I love to sit quietly and read during nap time/quiet play time
