Boys and Mud

Mud puddles are irresistible to little boys. Gabriel missed the waterslide at the pool so much that he rigged his own in the back yard. (Is he the son of 2 engineers?)

Summer Storms

We have been blessed with rain for several days in a row. The kids and I love to watch the lightning and listen to the thunder. I had fun trying to catch lightning with my camera. I was able to catch it twice.

Farm Sprouts

Gabriel and Nathaniel and I are taking a Farm Sprouts class at the Botanical Gardens where they have an old-fashioned farm. The kids are learning about the farm animals and chores. They learned how to "milk a cow" (a glove), weave wool, peel apples etc.

Swim Lessons

Gabriel enjoyed swim lessons this week. He is really learning! He goes under the water and jumps into the pool. He especially likes to wear his cool goggles!



This time, he dove instead of jumping and pushed his poor teacher under water.

Lazy Summer Days

We have been sick lately, so I took some fun photos of us sleeping and snuggling.
Nathaniel even made a bed out of his toybox.

You can tell when Gabriel is tired - the thumb goes in the mouth :)

Nathaniel remembered how comfortable Gabriel's bed is.

After we made a house on the floor with pillows, Nathaniel decided it was nap time.
